Leg Week
Today work was a little stressful. We had already finished all of the projects that we committed to doing, and the last couple of days we had been working on new things. I got everything working on my computer, and wanted to deploy, so I did just that. We've set up the environment to allow us to rollback to previous versions. But there was a mistake, since it only rolls back to things from a day before. So when I deployed to test the new things, it didn't work and I couldn't revert to the previous working version. Very stressful trying to fix this 5 minutes before our review. It ended up being fine, but I was freaking out a little.During the meeting I was also very frustrated at the lack of technical understanding that many of our leads had. Also there were big arguments, that probably would have went on for hours, about requirements. Thankfully someone was able to remind them that any business requirements that they are expecting to get from the devs need to be explicitly stated, or we won't be responsible for them. The working process was supposed to be learned already, but then again my company has a history of poorly implementing anything Agile (software development process).Anyways, enough of work. I did end up going to play volleyball tonight, although right before leaving work I really didn't feel like going. My shoulder was hurting at first, but after a couple terrible hits, I decided to swing without caring about it. Shoulder ended up not hurting as much after. Not sure if it's just the endorphins from playing that helped me ignore it, or if warming up for once actually helped. More research is needed. The tournament is this coming Sunday, so I'm going to try and do some exercise every day. Yesterday was leg day, today was volleyball, tomorrow probably more leg day, and Thursday more leg day. Saturday I think I'm going to go play PIU so that's also leg day. If my swing is still bad, jumping higher will help a lot more, so that's what I'm going for.
