It's Back
Two days ago, I slept super early around 11:30, and I was hoping to be well rested in the morning. Unfortunately, I had a lot of trouble sleeping, and I woke up every 3 hours or so. In the end I was as tired as normal during the day, but I definitely felt better than Tuesday.
We had a long meeting planning the next couple months, and apparently the release to production will happen sometime in October. They also want all development to be completed in August, so they can take the rest of the time to prepare.
We talk a lot with the other developers in the office, on other teams. From what I've heard, and previously experienced, management is terrible. They treat all the developers and testers like they are disposable, and easily replaceable. In the general world we can be replaced, but at the price that my company is willing to pay, they are only going to get incompetent people and low quality applications. Although I haven't had to deal with it since December, (they finally converted me and attempted to take steps to make the work culture for the new project better) just hearing about these issues in other parts of the office really makes me want to leave again. Maybe it's time for me to actually start updating my resume?
Today went kinda terribly. I wasn't too productive, and the thing I wanted to complete kept failing. Additionally, our web app has been bugging out, and debugging it has been a long arduous task. I think I've found the problem, but fixing will be pretty annoying, since the bug happens randomly (it's an async problem). I'm trying to fix that right now before I go to sleep.
I also didn't really get to go to the gym this week. I had Monday, but Wednesday I'm busy and today I had HH with my team.
I'm not too sure if I want to go to true again tomorrow, I kinda want to go to the gym instead, since I missed a couple days this week.
