Aand... as expected I forgot to post again this week.
So Tuesday night, the well water mechanism at my house broke. No running water was pretty inconvenient because I couldn't shower and I had to use bottled water to brush my teeth and wash my face.
On Wednesday, I went to volleyball practice after work. My shoulder doesn't seem to be hurting anymore, but it still feels a little weak. At the end of practice, we played some scrims, and I tried hitting again. It was terrible. My timing was off, and I was over running the ball on my approach. I guess I have to relearn my timing.
After practice, I got home and the water wasn't fixed yet, so I ended up going to the gym around 12. It was actually pretty nice, since the gym was completely empty. I did the whole leg workout routine, and I didn't have to wait for any of the machines. After that I used the shower there.
Thursday and Friday was just work as usual, and today I went to play PIU.
In the job search world, I have a bunch of interviews coming up next week. And I'm pretty stressed. The most draining part is just talking to people on the phone. If they just gave me an algorithm problem that would be great. Unfortunately, they want to talk about life and work and a bunch of random stuff. It's especially difficult when they tell me it's a technical interview, but then say I don't need a pen/paper or computer for it. Usually it ends up being just specific questions about different languages. I generally just look at the language documentation when I code, so these tend to be really awkward for me to answer. I also just submitted an application for Google on Wednesday, so hopefully that goes okay.
