Bored 2

Today was a little strange. I slept around the usual time, around 12 to 1, but then I woke up super early around 5. I attempted to go back to sleep, and it wasn't happening so I just went to the kitchen and started eating random food. There's not much in the fridge so I ended up eating a bunch of frozen food, like green thai curry, and fried rice, and chipotle beans and rice.

I also had a list of things to do, like scheduling a dentist appointment, and filling out paperwork for the new job. All of that I ended up doing before noon, which was very odd. So I felt super productive in the morning. I am validated in feeling terrible sleeping in. Now I have experience being productive early in the morning and I'll feel extra terrible when I wake up late. :'3.

In the afternoon I decided to play some league. Clearly a poor decision. And burned through 5 hours of the day. At which point I decided I should do something and went out for a Pokemon Go raid, dinner, and then a couple hours of PIU. I think I'm getting a little complacent, playing mostly songs that I've cleared before, so I should probably go to the random section. That'll force me to try/learn something new.

So now that all the actual obligations are done, I'm thinking of a couple things to do:

  1. Start another programming project. The new job will be using angular, so I guess a basic thing to do is make my own ui library from scratch. It'll be great for learning the framework.
  2. Schedule a Tesla test drive. I was considering buying a new car if I got a job in Virginia... and my job is in DC... but the Tesla's look so N I C E.
  3. Practice music stuff. Haven't practiced guitar in a while, I guess I have time to pick that up. Also I should probably practice for my vocal lessons... Haven't had those in a while because of conventions and volleyball. But uhh... I'm probably super rusty right now
