Week L8 (totally planned this to be late)
So, as you can probably tell, this post is late! I'm actually surprised it took this long for me to miss a week. But I'm writing it now so does this count?
Anyways, the work week was pretty chill last week. I was pretty productive which was nice. There's only a little more work to do before I should actually be done with the project. After that I'm just doing bug fixes, and I get to work on newer things! They said it'll probably be a mobile app which is exciting. So I said I could be done by this Friday, which if I focus should be easily doable. Just having the deadline is causing a little anxiety though.
In hobbies, volleyball we split again. Every week we split, I think we start pretty well, and then after the other teams warm up, we end up losing. I think our biggest problem is we don't have consistent point scorers, and I'm not great at adjusting to low sets. They're not hard to hit over, but I keep hitting them out.
In the other hobby, the keyboard fanatic, I've been spending a lot less time looking at keyboard stuff, because the shipping time for the stuff I ordered is so long. I just got a cheap kit that I ordered a month ago, and I built it over the weekend. It feels pretty nice, and it's mostly quieter than my current one which is good. Some of the keys are still super loud though, so I don't think I'll be using it at work. For this board, I ordered a bunch of parts that were different from what I have now, just to test things out, and I think I have a good idea of the final things I want.
I've still been putting off going to physical therapy for my leg. The plan was to go on Friday, but I didn't really want to leave the house. Gotta be less lazy I guess. I was about to talk about this week, but I think I'll leave that for the next post. Although, I guess I already did that above... Just ignore that for now so I can re use that for this Saturday.
In relationships... I'm feeling like it's really difficult to bring up the topic of going on dates with people I'm chatting with online. Also, it's really hard for me to keep the conversation going, especially since I don't really know about the usual talking points (sports, music, tv shows, movies). I guess I could just try leading off with asking about a date? or just say we can talk over coffee or tea or something probably.
