Tangents Suck (Sometimes)
Tonight I'll keep this post short because I'm feeling pretty tired. Work was pretty uneventful, especially because I had multiple meetings. They were spaced out just enough that I could start working on something, but not spaced out enough for me to actually accomplish anything. So that felt pretty... bad. The first meeting went over by an hour, because people kept asking tangentially related questions. The only reason I was asked to join was to clarify what our expectations were for a company that we hired to do some work for us. Turns out our expectations didn't match up, so I'll need to write an email to the higher ups to explain it. I didn't write that email. I should probably write that email. Then I went to lunch, and then another meeting. This time, there were even more tangential questions. No one on the team cared about the answers, but an entire hour was wasted on this. Pretty great if you ask me. So I got back to my desk, and had maybe 1 hour of actually productive work done. Yea. Great day. When I got home, I'm just streaming League. I'm trying to become a twitch affiliate, but it's pretty difficult getting any views. Some of my coworkers watch my stream, but it's just to help boost my numbers. I've been told I should actually tell people, but I have before and I feel like I would find it annoying if someone kept telling me every time they streamed. Oh well. I'm thankful for my coworkers helping me out though.I had pho today, and it was yummy and cheap. So I'm pretty thankful for that. Tomorrow, I want to finish up all the work. ALLLL THE WORK. Because we only have 2 more days. Hopefully I can be super productive.
