It Wasn't Me
Hey! This post is about normal time, but a little later than it should be. Work was eh. There were a lot of last minute fixes, and requirement changes that happened this morning so it was super stressful fitting everything in. I skipped lunch... :( We also had to push back the review an hour so that I would have enough time to fix everything. Also, I've been noticing this for a while now, but people are generally really bad at communication. I find it very surprising, considering how terrible I am at it (verbally). Everyone speaks over each other and very few team members convey they thoughts coherently. In addition, everyone adds a bunch of details that are irrelevant to the specific topic we are covering. And then someway or another we go on a giant tangent about best practices moving forward, when we should really only be presenting what has already been made. These meetings... I find them very annoying. :xAnyways, after all that was over, some of the team (these specific individuals shall now be referred to as "the cool kids". This group includes me, because I'm cool. y'know?) decided to play some fooseball. We got through one game, and after the third point of the second game, one of the players disintegrated. Okay, that's probably a very slight exaggeration, but the player piece thing just uh... fell apart. So we kinda freaked out and started looking for a screwdriver to fix it. We luckily had spare players so we screwed another back on. The we decided to continue the game, and just two points after, another player died. And another. So... I guess we're serial killers now? 🤐Yup. Just some shenanigans at work I guess. I also played volleyball for a little bit at the community center, but there were a lot of people so I left early.
