Work is going decently. Assuming there are no holdups, I can foretell my part of the project being complete on time. Although I'm a little worried, since there hasn't been much communication lately about the design stuff and the parts I'm not working on. Since most of the things I'm going to be using have to be used by everyone else as well, I'm thinking of writing super in depth documentation for everything I make, and since I'm documenting and finishing first, everyone has to conform to me. Well At least that's the hope.
I'm currently waiting for the volleyball league to put out some announcements, for open gym/drafting/play schedule. That way I can plan my next couple months around it. I was also asked to sub for another match and I was a little nervous since I didn't want to mess up. I ended up forgetting to bring contacts. Also, I've noticed for a while that I'm timing my approach based on the net height and not the ball height (might be because of my poor depth/space perception). It's not too bad when I play at the same gym repeatedly/after I get used to the net, but it's really annoying to adjust when I go to a new place (part of the reason I want the open gym for the league to start soon). In the long term, I need to work on adjusting regardless of the net.
At open gym, a couple weeks ago, I spiked really hard. I've been attempting to recreate that, but I haven't been able to. Also I think my form is getting worse again because my shoulder is starting to hurt again, so I should either do more shoulder stuff at the gym or... practice my hitting form again.
I watched Weathering With You this weekend and it was really beautiful. I thought the music was great, and the art was great, and the emotion was great. But the story wasn't very well thought out, or I guess it didn't really flow. Overall was still very enjoyable. I've been listening to the soundtrack over the weekend and it's really nice.
I got a match in Coffee meets Bagel, and I was really scared of messaging her since I didn't really know what to say. Kind of hard to make conversation about a topic I'm not well informed about. Took me a couple hours to come up with something, but now I guess the conversation is flowing well.
