This week was a little strange. Started out with a holiday (which I slept through) and then kind of not too productive work. We're still waiting on design stuff so I've been adjusting small things to make the whole thing work better. They want the entire project to be finished in two weeks, however I feel like that will be pushed back a lot. I estimating needing at least a week after design is approved, (and common components are created). On top of that there'll probably some issues that need to be fixed with those, so a safe estimate would probably be 2-3 weeks given the current pace of everyone else.
When I first started this job, I was bored, because there wasn't work I was allowed to do. Then they assigned me this current project, and then it was pretty fun for a while. Building out the framework was exciting, and I learned a lot. But now it's just tedious, and I'm a little bored again. With the deadlines coming up, I've become a little anxious, I'm responsible for delivering, but I have no control of the current development speed (given the circumstances). Now I'm just feeling bored and anxious.
I've also been lately obsessed with making my own keyboard. I've spent countless nights up till 4am trying to research and find different parts. I might have a problem.
This week I've also been hanging out with a lot of new friends. I was invited to play gloomhaven, and eat kbbq. I ended up skipping back day twice, but my back has been hurting anyways so I hope resting it is fine this week. Hopefully I won't slack on gyming next week though.
Volleyball on Tuesdays is nice. I get lots of touches, but I feel like I have no way to gauge if I'm really getting better. Most of the hits aren't that hard, so I can't tell if I'm passing better, or if it's just an easy hit.
I also watched Parasite this week. I don't really know what/how to process it. I felt like the movie was so packed with information, and I can't really think of what it all means until I read something about it. Then it's like "oh, that makes sense". I feel like I would need to re watch it a couple of times to really understand everything. I guess in that sense, it makes sense that it would receive such good reviews from movie critics.
