Week 50/1/2
Not much happened these past three weeks. Work has been chugging along, addressing some small issues with the product as we prepare to hand it off to another team. Our east coast team is going to be starting to work on a brand new project! But this time it’ll be more involved, since we aren’t just launching something that was already in beta. We’ll be building it from the ground up, which is exciting.
The next few weeks I’ll be getting up to speed on our current designs, and also doing a little more work on my Nashorn project. I’ve gotten it all up and running (mostly), just working on getting it working with our build pipeline. But also it isn’t super urgent, so I guess I can spend a lot of my time on the new project. As long as there aren’t brand new features in the near future (I think the new one we’re working on is going to be the next one) it doesn’t matter too much.
So I’ve been going to the gym pretty regularly, as well as PT and training. I was able to hit decently well last weekend when we played outside. The first swing hurt, but after I changed the angle it was a lot better. I’m still getting the same type of pain from before if I swing the way I used to, but we’ve been practicing moving my elbow more vertical during PT. When I do get the swing right, there isn’t pain, but it kinda feels like less power.
Training has been going well. We measured my vertical again yesterday, and it increased! I think peak standing jump went up to 35 inches from 31? (although the average was more like a 2 inch increase). Although I’m still not sure if it’s because of the testing equipment being faulty… oh well seems pretty good so far!

Joined a ton more group buys… And bought C3 Tangerines, so I’ll probably add a little blurb on my thoughts to the RR section.
